Balustrades

Pressure-locked gratings which have the quality and aesthetic that is suited to residential environments are especially appropriate for balcony and stair balustrades. The manufacturing process also creates little or no wastage which makes it an economical choice for panels of a smaller size.

Cross-pressed gratings with equal flat bars provide an identical appearance on both the inside and outside.

Gratings with narrow apertures are always recommended for residential balconies.

Panels are supplied framed to custom-sizes with either bracket fixings or holed for bolting into a secondary framework. Lang+Fulton will work with the architect to design and supply the secondary steelwork.

Parapets and Barriers

in conjunction with their Consulting Engineers, Lang+Fulton can develop a design to accept horizontal loadings for pedestrian barriers up to a 3m span in accordance with BS EN 1991-1-1.

Decking and stair treads

Heel-proof stair treads and decking are supplied in both mild steel and stainless steel.

Barrot grating has been designed for pedestrian comfort with a wide bearing surface and is particularly suitable for balcony decking.
