Winterbourne Shelter for The Caterpillar Club

Winterbourne Shelter for The Caterpillar Club

NBB School Shelters has provided a bespoke Winterbourne Freestanding Shelter & Post Protectors for The Caterpillar Club in Ferndown, Dorset. The Caterpillar Club located in Ferndown is a purpose built pre-school for under 5's situated in the grounds of Ferndown First School in Dorset. The Caterpillar Club is run and organised by an elected committee consisting of mostly parents so budgeting and funding is always a primary concern.

Having recently received funding from Dorset County Council, the pre-school decided to go ahead with an NBB bespoke Winterbourne Shelter complete with Post Protectors. The Caterpillar Club wanted to ensure children were protected from bumping into the new installation so decided to enhance their shelter with vibrant red post protectors. Post Protectors are a great addition to any shelter, walkway or canopy installation. A protective pad manufactured from high impact foam covered with a washable PVC helps to provide a safer environment for playing children.

Susan Crow from The Caterpillar Club comments "The installation is a fantastic addition to the club and really helps when introducing outdoor play. The children are able to spend a lot more time outside and the shelter gives great protection from the sun, wind and of course rain!' Susan continues to comment that the NBB staff were 'brilliant and helpful in every aspect' and that the 'installation was quick, efficient and hassle-free without causing any disruption to the children's daily routine".
