SureSet have completed work on another spectacular school logo, this time, at the new Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Primary School in Poplar, London. SureSet recreated a 64m² version of their intricate logo at the school entrance.

Due to the complexity of the design (and a bit of rain!) the project took six days to complete - three of those days were spent laying 130m² of flexible aluminium edging – the next three days were dedicated to hand laying 11 different colours. The logo was created using the colours of Gunmetal Grey, Lemon Yellow, Bright Orange, Traffic Red, Candy Pink, Ultra Violet, Ultramarine Blue, Sky Blue, Water Blue, Bottle Green and Emerald Green from our Spectrum® range in 3mm recycled glass.

These vibrant and stimulating colours, perfect for a primary school, were all created in-house by SureSet. SureSet developed their own method of colour coating glass after problems with the coloured recycled glass they were sourcing externally. Developing their own process was the only way to ensure they continued to meet their commitment to installing high quality products and providing the highest level of customer service.

Their colour coated recycled glass range is called Spectrum® and guarantees a UV stable installation that won’t fade. This method also allows SureSet to offer bespoke colour blends to their customers.
