The Platform Lift Company also offer a customisable and embedded Bespoke Step Lift solution that is again totally concealed when not in use. The step lift can be embedded into a flight of steps/stairs and the upper landing, when activated the steps/stairs fold to a lifting platform. The platform can also be embedded at the lower level to leave the upper landing undisturbed. The Bespoke Step Lift is built to specification and can be configured according to structural requirements.

After operation, the Bespoke Step Lift can be returned to function as a standard staircase. They remain hidden as they are clad using the same floor finish as the surround area. This function makes the product an ideal solution for heritage retail buildings and where space is limited.
