The Solid Wood Flooring Company were called in by the client to look at supplying engineered wood flooring throughout the redevelopment and refurbishment of the Pavilion at Hampton Court.
This prestigious private residence “The Pavilion at Hampton Court,” was the traditional summer residence of the royals, and is the only surviving example of four garden pavilions built by Sir Christopher Wren for William III between 1700 and 1702.
The building is Grade II listed and The Solid Wood Flooring Company supplied their unfinished engineered wood flooring for the main areas of the house, and their engineered herringbone basketweave for the library.
The fitters The Solid Wood Flooring Company recommended did all of the installation and finishing on site. The Solid Wood Flooring Company also supplied their specialist flooring for wet areas in the swimming pool area.
