Modular classrooms delivered ahead of schedule

Av Danzer's latest school project for Kent County Council is for Minster Church of England primary school in Thanet. Danzer have built three brand new classrooms for the school providing 228 sq. m of new learning space for the pupils and teachers. The building also includes internal storage areas, standard and disabled toilet and wash room facilities.

The units were delivered to site on April and Av Danzer are delighted to have completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule. The new units were constructed by our team at Langley Mill incorporating revisions to the structural specification as part of our continuing product development. They are finished in a London yellow brick and a grey/black slate tile to the site constructed pitch roof. The external finishes to the building complements other buildings at the school.

Commenting on the delivery of this third project for Kent County Council, Danzers’ Trevor Goodwin said: “This was an interesting project as we were able to design the modules using the latest changes to our Linkpak modular system which guarantees longevity whilst also delivering the benefits of a speedy turnaround, as you would expect from a modular build.”
