Marsh Ultra Polylok 50PE used for new offices

The Marsh Ultra Polylok 50PE tank has been used for the construction of new offices for a Bio-Fuel production facility in the Champagne-Ardenne region of France. The unit was chosen for its compact footprint, reduced TSS levels, proven reliability – especially under variable load – and its affordable tariff, of particular importance during these cost-conscious times.

The installation was carried out rapidly, thanks to the ready to use mono-tank design, and it was backfilled, filled with clean water & put into operation in 3 days. After treatment the water is infiltrated directly into the water table via 2 x 1.5m diameter vertical shafts at 6m deep. Special permission was granted to Eiffage to install a compact independent Ultra wastewater treatment unit, as the site is within an area considered connected to mains drains – as the new office blocks were constructed at the opposite end of the site from the existing sewage collection point, a site criss-crossed with process machinery and pipework and difficult to excavate.

Taken into consideration in the choice of the Ultra unit was the proven track record of BioKlar Ltd in cooperation with Marsh Industries Ltd on other civil engineering projects across France and the UK – close to drinking water capture and hence under continual monitoring – such as the TGV railway line construction around Nimes which is located near the Perrier facility.
