Knauf Insulation is showcasing its innovative whole house energy efficiency solutions at stand 20 of the Energy Efficiency Exhibitions, taking place around the country this autumn.
Knauf Insulation will be exhibiting products from across its extensive portfolio, including solutions for both new build and retrofit projects, at the series of one-day events throughout September. In October, the manufacturer will take to the road once again, for a series of smaller Bitesize Briefings that focus specifically on the installer and Knauf Insulations ThermoShell internal and external solid wall insulation systems.
Knauf Insulations National Refurbishment Manager Craig ODonnell commented: Theres been a definite shift towards whole house energy efficiency and at Knauf Insulation we have both the products and training facilities to help our customers adopt this holistic approach whether thats specifying solutions to meet Part L and the Code for Sustainable Homes, or finding out how to tap into the business opportunities offered by the Green Deal and ECO.
The exhibitions offer the perfect opportunity for customers to find out about our solutions for every application, all within their own local area. Whats more, our technical experts will be on hand to provide advice and guidance, as well as information about the sustainability credentials of our product ranges which is now a key purchasing consideration for many projects.
Throughout the roadshows, Craig will be presenting about Knauf Insulations whole house solutions as part of the exhibitions seminar programme. In addition, there will be live demonstrations of Knauf Insulations ThermoShell® External Wall Insulation (EWI) and Internal Wall Insulation systems (IWI), which are perfect for upgrading the thermal efficiency of solid wall and hard-to-treat properties.
The ThermoShell systems are only available to approved installers, which enables Knauf Insulation to offer a 25-year guarantee a key requirement for accessing funding under ECO. Visitors to the exhibitions will be able to find out more about Knauf Insulations dedicated ThermoShell Training Academy in Birmingham, where they can enrol to start the process of becoming an approved installer.
Knauf Insulation will also be highlighting its Supafil blown-in glass mineral wool insulation product range, which is designed for fully filling masonry cavity walls of both new and existing buildings. Whats more, the manufacturer will be showcasing the latest addition to the range, Supafil CarbonPlus, which is specifically designed for installation into existing partially filled cavities and narrow cavities (as low as 40mm wide) making it suitable for use on hard to treat properties funded via ECO.
Finally, visitors will also be able to find out about Knauf Insulations innovative new Loft Storage System, which insulates and provides a storage deck in one application simplifying and speeding up the insulation process for both new build and retrofit properties.
