Background
As part of Cambridge University, Cambridge University Press publishes resources which are accessible across the globe, in print, online and other digital formats. With over 50 offices around the globe, Cambridge University Press distribute products to nearly every country in the world.

Challenge
The Main Office in Cambridge has a selection of car parks that require traffic control. From deliveries, staff and visitors, the car parks are constantly busy and required Automatic Rising Arm Barriers to control access.

Result
Frontier Pitts manufactured the popular FBX model of Automatic Barrier in a stainless-steel finish at the request of the Cambridge University Press to complement the look of the area. The barriers play a key role in providing access control to the car parks and ensuring that drivers adhere to the one-way system.

The FBX Barrier is a popular model of Automatic Barriers as it is driven by a rapid-action torque motor. With boom lengths available up to 6m, and up to Sm with lower folding skirts, the torque motors provide 100% duty rating and are instantly reversible.
