Taplanes has provided its Omega bathroom cubicles for Stowe boarding school. Stowe School opened as a boy’s education facility in 1923 with 99 pupils that boarded in 2 houses- Bruce and Temple.
Since its establishment, the School has grown considerably and the now co-educational facility currently boasts approximately 800 pupils. Around 80% of the boarding students are accommodated in one of twelve boarding houses.
Set in stunning surroundings, the Grade 1 listed house and buildings require constant upkeep, one of the considerations for using Taplanes® shower cubicles was the ability of the cubicles being able to move with the aged floors so that leaking was not able to occur.
The school required a bank of freestanding cubicles, and Taplanes® achieved this by using the readily available Taplanes® Omega cubicles. The row of showers were fitted out with pivot shower doors and Rada V12 TMV3 shower mixers.
